I keep getting the "joining server" loop on battlefield 3?

Everytime I try to join a quickmatch of rush, it says "Joining Server" for about1 minute, and then it says failed to join, check your network connection. Well, I've done been to a friends house and it did the same thing over there, his copy of battlefield 3 works fine. I have to actually go and pick a server in order to play. If someone can't help me out here, i'm throwing this game in the trash. It wouldn't even be worth anything to anyone with this kind of problem.



Ive done cleared my cache, but I haven't deleted the map packs, and all the download content yet. I'm guessing it has something to do with my xbox.I keep getting the "joining server" loop on battlefield 3?
I suggest that you do not throw the game away! It's too expensive to just throw away! Besides, I have been having the same issues as you. Also, several of my friends share this same problem like the majority of the Battlefield 3 community.

Your not the only one, it happens to a lot of people, not sure why though. It has happened to me too, usually I just turn it off for a moment. I believe it's not your connection but some of their servers since they have so many.

Battlefield 2 kicks me off online play when I click "join server"? Need help?

I have battlefeild 2 with special forces add on and have played alot about 6 months ago fine, but now I keep trying to log on and every time I click "join server" it closes battlefield 2 and brings me back to my desk top. I downloaded the 1.41 update and tampa update and nothing is happening.



Any help would be greatly appreciated.

At the upper right portion of the page u will find the button "game support" click on that and follow the instructions listed.

I always hear about how certain games have dedicated servers like battlefield 3. Is there a reason why people go out of their way to use the term 'dedicated servers' rather than just servers?What makes a server a dedicated server?
dedicated servers are used only for the purpose of hosting that games network, otherwise servers could also hold information regarding their website, or corporate holdings etc.
