I was wondering if it would be possible to purchase web hosting and start running my own ranked Battlefield 2 server(s)?
I know there are web sites like GameServers but I'd like to run everything on my own if possible.
Now I don't know much about all of this, so this is why I'm asking. Please point me in the right direction!Running own Battlefield 2 Ranked Server(s)?
Ranked servers are restricted to selected game server providers, so you can't mod the files to give out loads of points.
You can only run an unranked server on your own kit, which is a waste of time as there are already 100's of empty unranked servers.
