Try unchecking the same version and ranked boxes to see if any servers appear, if they do then you just need to install the patches 1.41 and 1.50 from filefront or a download site of your choice, don't forget to check the boxes after patching or you may not rank up.
If no servers appear then it is your connection, or a firewall/router blocking the game. You should be able to add battlefield 2 to your firewall exceptions list or open ports on your router to allow the game access. cheak you internet connection, you might be online, but you are not either sending or recieving
