Battlefield 2 kicks me off online play when I click "join server"? Need help?
I have battlefeild 2 with special forces add on and have played alot about 6 months ago fine, but now I keep trying to log on and every time I click "join server" it closes battlefield 2 and brings me back to my desk top. I downloaded the 1.41 update and tampa update and nothing is happening.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I always hear about how certain games have dedicated servers like battlefield 3. Is there a reason why people go out of their way to use the term 'dedicated servers' rather than just servers?What makes a server a dedicated server?

How come there are loads of battlefield 2 stat padding servers but no battlefield 2142 ones?
I mean if you search for a servers beginning with S you will find loads on battlefield 2, but on battlefield 2142 there are none. Why don't EA do what they did for 2142 to stop padding for battlefield 2?

Ok so i love the game its very fun and i hate cheaters, hackers, and of course glitchers. Whenevr i play the game i always get owned by an hacker using aimbott or a guy in a glitch who stays there all day long. You need to join a clan/community with a server and ask them if you can be admin, then use BF2CC or the servers own admin software to monitor the server.
It's unlikely you will be allowed to admin a server right away though, it will take time to gain the trust of the clan/community, and you may have to contribute to the costs.
The other way is to rent a server, then you can be admin, but it can be hard to get your server populated, you may end up sitting there on your own not playing much for hours.

I had this same problem today, but i fixed it. go to the list of servers, like you already have. you'll notice that all of them are only back to karkand (dlc) servers right? well thats because the list is filtered to only show those servers. so change it to where it shows any map. if you like you can also change it to show every server in the world as well. for some reason, even though im in the eastern u.s., it was only showing european servers. but anyway, change the list's filter to show any and all servers, not just the dlc ones. then try and join a game.Battlefield 3 cant join server?

I had this same problem today, but i fixed it. go to the list of servers, like you already have. you'll notice that all of them are only back to karkand (dlc) servers right? well thats because the list is filtered to only show those servers. so change it to where it shows any map. if you like you can also change it to show every server in the world as well. for some reason, even though im in the eastern u.s., it was only showing european servers. but anyway, change the list's filter to show any and all servers, not just the dlc ones. then try and join a game.Battlefield 3 cant join server?

Hello, I was wondering if it was possible for me to make a BF2 dedicated server. I have made plenty of LAN/network servers, but is there a way to make an INTERNET, that people in China or England could play? It does not have to be ranked, I just want a simple easy dedicated INTERNET server. I saw Wolfservers and my computer is better than half of their servers. PS# and PC do not have any issues.........Becasue of this i am returning BBC3 and waiting for MW3....I urge you all to do the same

Try unchecking the same version and ranked boxes to see if any servers appear, if they do then you just need to install the patches 1.41 and 1.50 from filefront or a download site of your choice, don't forget to check the boxes after patching or you may not rank up.

i have installed battlefield 3 open beta on pc.when i click play game in origin battle log page is opened in internet explorer.when i click quick match or try to join server after searching a server with server browser nothing happens.game does not launch.no error msg and nothing.i am running windows 7 32 bit and graphics card is ati hd 6770Unable to join server in battlefield 3 open beta?
Maybe your internet speed/connection isn't capable of handling Battlefield 3. You'll need atleast 256kbps to be able to play Battlefield 3 online.

When you search and put in your preferences, make sure that there are servers that do have what you're looking for, in the bottom right-hand corner there will be how many servers fit your preferences. If there are some, scroll down and there will be a list of servers, click one and join.

Battlefields servers could be backed up majorly right now since it is only day 2 of the release. I would jus try joining through quick match. If it still persists it could be on your end of the connection. Oh and remember joining servers means your joining someones created server, you could live in canada and they could live in the uk so it wouldnt work properly, good luck

Server problems Battlefield 3 for XBOX 360?
Logged into xbox live to play BF3, after going into browse server menu, found none were available. It has been several hours now, and still only chance of joining a server in hardcore mode is by queue in which you'll wait for who knows how long. Make sure your connection's good, or change the router's signal channel.
My Game has given me the exact same message, but it usually just means there is an issue with your connection. Don't worry too much. Even if your connection is good, change the router's channel through it's advanced settings (you can access these through your internet browser on your computer). I just changed Channel 11 to channel 6 and Battlefield started to work.

I've been playing battlefield 2412 since it came out like a year ago...but I've never experienced this until now...When I play, after like 5 mins or so I lose connection to the Master server. How come I can't join any Battlefield 2142 servers that are running Northern Strike?
I just fixed a previous problem regarding my account info, and I have the original and the booster pack installed, with all patches (up to 1.5). I try to join a BF2142 NS server, but after loading all info, the server kicks me out, and says that my version is modified and i need to revert to an original version. You will also find that when you go into BFHQ and click on a few medals/ribbons/badges you will crash to desktop.
The BFHQ crash can't be fixed without re-installing the whole game.
The modified content error can be fixed the same way, but can also be fixed a little more easily by changing the version in the registry to 1.10 and then installing the 1.50 full patch again.
To go into registry and change the version, click the windows start button, then click run, type regedit, then click ok.
For 32bit Windows it's under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2142
For 64bit Windows it's under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\鈥?Arts\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2142

Battlefield 2 Server?
Doews anybody know why i cant enter as many servers as you can find. I can only pick a dozen or something and they are almost always filled up. I bought the original battlefield 2 no add ons or expansion packs.

Go to EA's Battlefield 2.com and download patch 1.3. Make sure its the full version not the icreamental patch. It'll take a while but thats normal. What is the difference between the battlefield 3 servers?
On the xbox 360 under the servers menu there are a list of servers the main three I have seen begin with; -[DICE]- Normal Server, P24, and SERVER10. What is the difference between all of them? Are the last two not owned by dice and are maybe locally based and what exactly are the point of them seeing as there are lots of "-[DICE]-" servers.What is the difference between the battlefield 3 servers?

Been playing the game a while now, on the XBox 360, and server issues are really getting on my nerves. I don't know if it's happening to other(Probably not), but most of the time, I can barely finish a freaking game. Why did I get banned from a battlefield 3 server?
I have been playing at battlefield 3 for about a couple hours on this server and everything was going pretty good. The map changed for the 3rd time and I was in a tank trying to take over a checkpoint and right after I killed a guy trying to take out the tank I was pulled out of the game and my EA game manager said I was banned from the server. I never received any kind of warning that I was breaking any kind of rules, and I have never used any kind of cheats, I don't even know how. Is anyone else having a lot of problems with the Battlefield 3 online server? Every once in a while when I'm playing I will suddenly be kicked from the game and a message that comes up that says "Failed to connect to EA Online. Please Try again. I bought Battlefield 3 the night before its release. Not only did it take 7hours to download, after hitting the install it took me to REdownload the game from origin. Knowing how stupid this was after actually playing the game I find out the only way to play multiplayer was through the browser. me and a few mates were in a game when as usual the servers kicked us out. this time however, we are all back at the starting rank and have lost our weapons. will this be restored by EA and has it happened to you aswell?Battlefield bad company 2 server - lost all earned stuff?

If you are using vista, all i had to do was right click the .exe and select 'run as administrator' and it got me into servers no problem.

Did you get the beta drivers if not then that could be the problem also when you open the game is it full screen or minimized

just give your comp. some breathing time man, it's clear that u use your comp. a lot, but right now i think the best thing u can do is give it some space to sort things out in this relationship, i mean with all the games u got her running it'll be hard for her to keep upMy computer freezes every time i join a game on any server in Battlefield 3. I double click on a server, with punkbuster enabled. The server acts like it is going to load, but before showing the loading screen, it tells me that I have been kicked by punkbuster. I was wondering if anyone knew of a battlefield 2142 server host. Our current host is shutting down in Australia (Hypernia) and we are looking for a new host to host 2 battlefield 2142 servers and a Teamspeak Server. We are also open to dedicated servers if anyone has some links.

You can't have a modded ranked server, well you could but you would need access to the server files which the server provider is not supposed to give you, if you did mangae to mod it, it will get shut down pretty quick.
