i have the newest patch, and i updated punkbuster through pbsetup which i have been using for 6 monthsI can't join a battlefield 2142 server cause i don't have a unmodified version?
It should say what version you are running on the login screen, the latest version is v1.50.
If you get this message when trying to play Northern Strike servers, then you need to either re-install, patching with 1.40 before and after installing NS, then patch with 1.50.
