We cant work this out. It is to be done over the internet as opposed a LAN.



I can create the server no probs but when he searches for it from his PC 300 miles away I dont show up.How does my mate join my local server to play co-op Battlefield 2?
Do you use hamachi? If you don't, then you should get it. Both of you need to get it. Then you make a server on hamachi(its free), and both connect to it. Boom, both of you are on LAN.

BF2 has a connect to ip button on the server screen.

LOL you have to be really close not 300 miles away why don't you make an internet game with a password so no one else can play but you 2. LAN= LOCAL AREA NETWORK (notice LOCAL AREA).
