You will need an account to play ranked matches, which asks for an email address when created. I searched my email and don't see a password, just a welcome email, so you should be safe entering a random email address or using a temp email service such as www.mailinator.com if you don't want them to have your real address. I don't think they register the cd key to the account either, as my friend and I play on the same computer using different accounts and have had no problems.Can you play call of duty 4 online in rank servers without registering your email like battlefield 2?
yea on the 360 u dont need a email address except when registering for live
