Why does my Battlefield 2 multiplayer only have 1 avaliable server?

I recently bought Battlefield 2 for my pc, and my pc is beyond all the requirements. I installed the game without a problem, I made an account, and when I went to multiplayer there was only 1 server, I tried to refresh and update the servers and everything but I still only had one, here is the menu.

I tried to get the latest patch here.

But the patch wont run, I press run on the menu, the hourglass shows and then nothing happens at all. Am I suppose to get another patch?

You have to patch it up to it's latest version. Go to EA.com or google "battlefield 2 patch" and download it from somewhere.



You dled the speical forces patch probably. Make sure that you download the patch for your version of the game. Speical forces is an expansion for BF2.Why does my Battlefield 2 multiplayer only have 1 avaliable server?
go download the latest patch at gamespot downloader. i think around 1.40 or 1.41. after that the number of servers should be around 4000.
