i know battlefield has dedicated servers so will i lag alot. call of duty doesnt have dedicated servers.Will battlefield bad company 2 lag on the xbox 360 like call of duty does. I have clearwire internet?
Non-dedicated servers tend to lag more than the dedicated ones because they are all based off of the machine and internet of the host. In other words if somebody is hosting a CoD6 server and his sister is on the computer, or too many ppl get on his server, that server will be extremely laggy.
Dedicated servers however need to run constantly, day and night, and therefore are either hosted by somebody with a lot of money for the electric bill and a really good upload speed, or a server farm with specific equipment for dedicated game servers.
The problem may also be your internet connection. Either it is slow or other ppl in your house use it when you do. If so then it will lag, but not as much.
Short Answer: If your internet is good. BF2 should not lag.
