I had the same problem, the thing you need to do is go in to you server browser and search for games, but only join the 'DICE' servers, I don't know what it is causing though.

Why cant I join battlefield 3 servers or games on my PS3?
When I join it says "failed to join the game. Please check your network connection and try again" now I have checked it and it's all fine but yeah, its still syaing that, please help me, I paid 7.99 for multiplayer and now it's giving me poop please helpppppWhy cant I join battlefield 3 servers or games on my PS3?
