Why does it take forever on battlefield 2 when it says loading complete, verifying client data?

every time i go to a battlefield 2 online server, it says loading complete verifying client data and it says it every time and takes like 5 minutes. when on the other hand on my older brothers computer it takes like 15 seconds to join a server. if you have xfire add me my name is coryvm55Why does it take forever on battlefield 2 when it says loading complete, verifying client data?
Then your brother is lucky, because one of the few major flaws is the horrendous load times and connection times. 5 minutes seems a bit long, I usually get about 3 minute load times. Plus, the more you play, usually the load times get quicker, especially if you keep playing on the same server multiple times.Why does it take forever on battlefield 2 when it says loading complete, verifying client data?
The reason is because BF2 saves servers you play on in your "favorites". When you log on it checks your favorite servers. If these servers are not active anymore it takes time to time out. Fix this by going to your "favorites" button and deleting all the old servers.
